Ole Miss quarterback Walker Howard is expected to enter the transfer portal. The one-time LSU Tiger will have two seasons of eligibility remaining.
Walker played in just two games this season, attempting two passes. Last season, he also appeared two games and only attempted four passes.
Walker transferred to Oxford from LSU, where the Louisiana native signed as part of the 2022 class with the likes of Will Campbell and Harold Perkins. In his freshman year, Howard played in one regular season game and the bowl game.
The former five-star quarterback transferred after just one year in Baton Rouge, deciding to continue his career at Ole Miss. While with the Rebels, Howard was never able to surpass Jaxson Dart on the depth chart and Austin Simmons served as Dart's primary backup this season.
