Ole Miss received an extra gift under the tree this Christmas as Texas A&M wide receiver transfer Chris Marshall committed to the Rebels on Sunday. Marshall is rated as the No. 4 receiver and No. 16 overall player in the Rivals Transfer Tracker. He will have three years of eligibility remaining at Ole Miss.

Marshall appeared in six games during his debut season this year, hauling in 11 receptions for 108 yards. He had three catches for 40 against Alabama. The 6-foot-3, 205-pound receiver was rated as the No. 48 overall player and No. 8 wideout in the 2022 class.

Marshall is the second transfer receiver to commit to the Rebels this weekend, joining Lousiana Tech’s Tre Harris, who announced his transfer to Ole Miss on Friday.

Ole Miss has now received six transfer commitments, including Harris and Marshall as well as kicker Caden Davis (Texas A&M), defensive lineman Joshua Harris (N.C. State), linebacker Jeremiah Jean-Baptiste (Central Florida) and defensive back John Saunders (Maryland).
