Oregon sophomore wide receiver Dont'e Thornton, Jr. announced his intentions to enter the transfer portal on Monday night.

The 6-foot-5, 199-pound prospect is coming off a productive 2022 season with the Ducks, recording 17 catches for 366 yards and one score.

His best game came against Utah on November 19th, when he hauled in four catches for 158 yards.

During the 2021 season, Thornton, Jr. appeared in all 14 games for Oregon, earning two starts while catching nine passes for 175 yards on the year.

Coming out of high school at Mount St. Jospeh (Md.), Thornton, Jr. was the No. 62 rated player in the 2021 class and ranked the No. 9 wide receiver nationally.

The transfer portal window officially opens on December 5th.
