SMU adds former Notre Dame OL Caleb Johnson

SMU added another key peice to their offensive line on Saturday with the commitment of former Notre Dame offensive lineman Caleb Johnson.

The 6-foot-5, 295-pound talent was coming off a weekend visit with the Mustangs.

Johnson didn't see the field as a true freshman in 2021 and made his collegiate debut against USC this past season.

Coming out of Ocala (Fla.) Trinity Catholic, Johnson was rated a 5.8, four-star prospect and signed with Notre Dame after being committed to Auburn.
