Isaiah Sategna grew up in Texas and then moved to Fayetteville, Ark., and now will see what the state of Oklahoma is like.
Sategna picked the Sooners after spending three years at Arkansas.
The 5-foot-11, 185-pound Sategna never broke out at Arkansas. He caught 15 passes for 129 yards and two touchdowns as a redshirt freshman in 2023, and improved to 37 catches for 491 yards but just one touchdown last fall. He caught three passes for a season-best 85 yards and a touchdown in the 24-14 win at Auburn on Sept. 21.
Sategna was a Rivals.com four-star prospect in the class of 2022, who was ranked No. 157 overall nationally, No. 1 in Arkansas and No. 26 wide receiver in the country.
Sategna originally verbally committed to Texas A&M, and then flipped to Oregon on July 11, 2021, with LSU, Arkansas and USC in the mix.
Sategna ended up flipping to Arkansas on Nov. 3, and signing with the Razorbacks. He put up video game numbers his senior year at Fayetteville (Ark.) High with 100 catches for a nation-leading 1,908 yards and 17 touchdowns.
Sategna was also a track and field standout, and both his parents ran collegiately at LSU. He was the No. 4 track prospect in the nation for the class of 2022 by MileSplits, and the Arkansas boys track and field player of the year by Gatorade.
