Syracuse sophomore cornerback Jeremiah Wilson intends to enter the NCAA transfer portal.

The 5-foot-10, 179-pounder from Kissimmee (Fla.) Osceola High was a Rivals.com three-star prospect, who played right away for the Orange. He had 21 tackles and one pass broken up last year.

Wilson got off to a solid start, but his last game was Sept. 30 against Clemson. He had 10 tackles in a 35-20 win at Purdue on Sept. 16, and got an interception for a 34-yard touchdown in a 65-0 win over Colgate in the season opener

Wilson finished with 16 tackles, five passes broken up and the interception in five games played this season.

Wilson had 15 scholarship offers out of high school. He entered the transfer portal for two days a year ago. The Orange are going through a coaching transition after firing coach Dino Babers this past week.
