One of Tennessee’s top pass rushers has entered the transfer portal. Following his breakout season this year, senior defensive end Tyler Baron will be moving on from the Volunteers. The Knoxville, Tennessee native will have one year of eligibility remaining at his next school.

Baron set career highs with six sacks and 10.5 tackles for a loss this season. He also tallied five quarterback hurries, two pass deflections and a fumble recovery. The 6-foot-5, 260-pound edge rusher has a combined 13.5 sacks and 27 tackles for a loss over 48 career games, including 19 starts.

Baron signed with Tennessee as the No. 6 strongside defensive end and No. 109 overall player in the 2020 class. He joins a strong list of pass rushers in the portal.
