Texas A&M junior defensive lineman/edge Enai White tells Rivals' Adam Friedman that he intends to enter the transfer portal.
For non-graduate transfers, the transfer portal officially opens for the winter window on Monday, Dec. 9.
White joined the Aggies in 2022. As a true freshman, he played in seven games and recorded eight total tackles, two tackles for loss and a pass defended.
As a sophomore in 2023, White appeared in five games. He amassed three total tackles, a tackle for loss and a sack.
Following knee surgery, White missed the start of 2024 fall camp for the Aggies and only appeared in limited action this season. According to Pro Football Focus, White appeared in two games, playing one snap against Missouri and eight snaps against New Mexico State.
White will have two years of college eligibility remaining.
As a recruit out of Imhotep Institute Charter High School in Philadelphia, White was one of the most highly sought-after prospects in the class of 2022. The four-star weak-side defensive end prospect ranked as the No. 2 player in the state of Pennsylvania, the No. 5 player at his position and the No. 82 overall recruit in the 2022 cycle.
White received more than 40 scholarship offers throughout his college recruitment. He signed with Texas A&M in December of 2021.
