Texas A&M made a big splash Sunday night, landing former five-star receiver Micah Hudson, a transfer from Texas Tech. The 6-foot, 195-speedster will have three years of eligibility remaining in College Station.

Hudson wasn’t able to show the full range of his capabilities this season, catching just eight passes for 123 yards.

That should change this season under Mike Elko.

The Red Raiders are looking to bounce back after a dismal aerial attack of a season that saw them rank No. 13 in the SEC in passing, posting just 2,442 yards and 16 touchdowns.

Hudson, a five-star prospect who checked in at No. 9 overall in the Rivals 100 for 2023, originally signed with the Red Raiders over Auburn, Ohio State, Texas, Georgia and Alabama, among others.

As a senior at Lake Belton, Hudson posted 1,370 receiving yards on 70 catches and scored 18 touchdowns.
