Texas A&M loses two more starters to the transfer portal

Texas A&M’s transfer exodus continued Wednesday as the Aggies saw two more starters announce their decision to move on from the program. Freshman offensive lineman Chase Bisontis entered his name in the transfer portal while junior edge rusher Fadil Diggs announced he will be doing the same. Bisontis has three years of eligibility remaining, while Diggs has one year left.

Bisontis started all 12 of Texas A&M’s at right tackle this season. According to Pro Football Focus, he earned a 63.3 run-blocking grade and a 46.8 pass-blocking mark. The 6-foot-6, 320-pound lineman signed with the Aggies as the No. 62 overall player in last year’s class.

Diggs also started all 12 games for Texas A&M, recording four sacks and 11 tackles for a loss as part of 36 tackles. The 6-foot-5, 260-pound defender also 6 quarterback hurries and a pair of pass breakups. Diggs signed with the Aggies as the No. 205 overall player in the 2020 class.
