Steve Sarkisian lost a viable option in the offensive trenches on Friday as lineman Malik Agbo hit the transfer portal. The 6-foot-4, 300-pounder will have two years of eligibility remaining at his next landing spot.

Agbo marks the fifth Texas player to enter the spring transfer portal thus far.

While in a reserve role, Agbo saw time in 16 games in 2024, including all three playoff games.

He was a part of a frontline that opened holes for a running game that amassed 2,944 yards and scored 26 touchdowns in 2024.

Expect him to be a hot commodity in the portal.

Agbo originally committed to the Longhorns over Alabama, Oregon, Michigan, Penn State, Oklahoma, Washington and USC, among others.
