Transfer Tracker: Dart finally makes it official

The transfer portal never stops grinding. After weeks of speculation and rumors, USC transfer Jaxson Dart finally made it official with a commitment to Ole Miss; spurning Oklahoma which also put a full-court press on the PAC 12 quarterback.

Recruiting: Dart committed to USC over over UCLA, Arizona State and BYU during the December Signing Day. The Trojans became the favorite after Jake Garcia de-committed.

At USC: During his true freshman season at USC, Dart completed 117 of 189 passes for 1,353 yards, nine touchdowns and five interceptions. He missed games with a torn meniscus during the early part of the season.

Farrell’s Take: Dart has a lot of talent and upside and we saw flashes of that his first year at USC. How effective will he be in a new home and are there any long range affects of that knee injury? Time will tell. But he's was a clear Power Five talent and pursued heavily out of the portal. He visited Oklahoma, BYU and Ole Miss and felt Lane Kiffin was the man to get the most out of him and I agree.
