Vanderbilt is set to lose another starting quarterback to the NCAA transfer portal. A day after senior Ken Seals announced his intention to transfer, sophomore A.J. Swann did the same, making the announcement over social media.

"I want to start off by thanking God for guiding me and for blessing me with the opportunities I have had," Swann wrote on X. "I also would like to thank my teammates for sticking with me and being by my side and to all y'all boys, love y'all and I know y'all are gonna be great and can't wait to see y'all succeed."

Swann started all six games he appeared in for Vanderbilt this season, completing 54.6% of his passes for 1,457 yards and 12 touchdowns with seven interceptions. He will have two years of eligibility at his next school.

Seals started six games over 10 appearances this season, completing 58.7% of his passes for 1,183 yards and 11 touchdowns with four interceptions. He will also have two years of eligibility at his next destination.

Following the departure of Swann and Seals, Vanderbilt is now left without a quarterback who has started a college game. Sophomore Walter Taylor and Drew Dickey are the only remaining scholarship passers on the Commodores roster.
