The Washington Huskies landed a talented player from the transfer portal in former Cal wide receiver Jeremiah Hunter. Hunter commits to Washington after playing four years at Cal, listed as a junior this past season.

Hunter is coming off a really strong season in which he had 63 receptions for 751 yards and seven touchdowns. During the total of his four seasons at Cal (he did not play his true freshman season), Hunter had 144 receptions for 2,104 yards and 13 touchdowns in 33 games played. He committed to Cal as a 4-star recruit with a 5.8 Rivals rating out of Central High School in Fresno, California as part of their 2020 class. He definitely backed up his rating during his time at Cal and projects to be a really nice addition to the Huskies’ wide receiver room.

Hunter also made my list for top former Pac-12 players available in the portal. Rivals has him ranked as a 4-star transfer and the 70th best overall transfer to have hit the portal. That’s definitely a feather in his cap as he heads to Seattle.
