Cook showed flashes this season in his reserve role, racking up 137 yards on eight catches and scoring two touchdowns.

Cook has a strong reputation as an explosive athlete with breakaway speed; precisely the type of young talent Fisch is looking to build around to improve on an offense that accumulated 3,028 passing yards and 18 touchdowns this season.

The Huskes finished 6-6 this season; 9th in the Big Ten.

Cook checked in at No. 23 overall in the Rivals Portal rankings.
