Western Kentucky quarterback Austin Reed has entered the NCAA transfer portal as a graduate transfer.
Reed ranked second among FBS field generals this season in passing yards (4,247), completions (353) and touchdown passes (36).
The St. Augustine, Fla., native transferred to West Florida after a season at Southern Illinois, where he was a redshirt freshman. Reed led West Florida to a Division II national championship in the 2019 season, passing for 4,089 yards. He threw for 523 yards and six touchdowns in the championship game.
Reed entered the transfer portal in February, visited Western Kentucky on March 8 and committed less than a week later.
Now he is on the move again.
A Davey O’Brien Award semifinalist with plenty of experience and a résumé prolific stats, expect Reed to receive power five offers and quickly.
