The 6-foot-3, 191-pound Madden Iamaleava was ranked No. 227 overall in the class of 2025 by Rivals.com. He was No. 18 overall in California and the No. 7 quarterback nationally in his class.

The Long Beach (Calif.) Poly was heaped with praise from Arkansas offensive coordinator Bobby Petriono this spring.

“Madden’s a special talent now,” Petrino told the local medai. “He can really get the ball out of his hands. He sees stuff and has a great, quick release.”

Iamaleavea picked Arkansas over offers from Arizona, Auburn, Cal, Colorado, Georgia Tech, Miami (Fla.), Michigan State, Nebraska, Ole Miss, Oregon, Oregon State, Pittsburgh, SMU, TCU, Tennessee, UCLA, UNLV, Washington and Washington State.

Iamaleavea verbally committed to Arkansas on Dec. 4, 2024.
