Auburn is losing a former Rivals150 defender. Redshirt sophomore linebacker Dylan Brooks entered his name in the NCAA transfer portal Saturday, becoming the eighth Tigers player to do so since the end of spring camp.

Brooks appeared in nine games last season, recording six stops, including a sack. He also recovered a fumble and broke up a pass. The Roanoke, Alabama native signed with Auburn as the No. 124 overall player and No. 8 strongside defensive end in the 2021 class. He will have three years of eligibility remaining at his next school.
