At UCF Thompson saw action in more than 30 games, rushed for over 1,000 yards and scored 13 touchdowns. In 2019, Thompson was the Knight's third-leading rusher with 604 yards on 87 attempts for a 6.9-yard average per carry and eight rushing touchdowns, tops on the squad.

The 6-foot-1, 197-pound Thompson reunites with Sooners quarterback Dillon Gabriel, who also transferred from UCF to Oklahoma earlier this year.
