Colorado transfer and true freshman wide receiver Adrian Wilson has committed to North Carolina.

Wilson signed with Colorado in December 2024 and enrolled in Boulder later that month. Wilson participated in spring ball for head coach Deion Sanders and the Buffaloes in 2025, but entered the transfer portal on April 16 before being able to suit up for Colorado this fall.

One day later, Wilson committed to head coach Bill Belichick, offensive coordinator/tight ends coach Freddie Kitchens, wide receivers coach Garrick McGee and the rest of the Tar Heels.

The 6-foot-2, 165-pound Wilson will have all four years of eligibility remaining.

As a senior at Weiss High School in 2024, Wilson recorded 47 receptions for 985 receiving yards and 14 touchdowns to help lead the Wolves to the Texas 5A playoffs. During his junior year, Wilson amassed 60 receptions for 1,003 yards and 14 touchdowns.

Prior to committing to Colorado in October 2024, Wilson had previously been committed to TCU, Oregon and Arizona State.

Wilson's cousin, Tyree Wilson, was the No. 7 overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft and currently plays for the Las Vegas Raiders.
