The transfer hits keep coming for Georgia. Shortly after seeing starting linebacker Jamon Dumas-Johnson enter the transfer portal, the Bulldogs lost one of their top signees from this year’s signing class as Rivals100 cornerback A.J. Harris entered his name in the database as well. Harris, a former Rivals100 recruit, will have three years of eligibility at his next school.

Harris tallied eight tackles over seven appearances this season. In addition to his time on defense, the 6-foot-1, 190-pound defensive back spent time on both kickoff units, the punt return unit and the field-goal/extra-point blocking unit. He tallied a season-high four stops in Georgia's Week 3 win over Ball State.

Harris signed with the Bulldogs as the No. 41 overall player and No. 5 cornerback in the 2023 class. The Phenix City, Alabama product chose Georgia over Alabama, Clemson and Florida.
