The transfer portal is moving fast with a ton of rumors out there all the time so a Portal Rumor Mill was needed with all the latest:

Braxton played in the first two days of this season but then was sidelined the rest of the way with a lingering knee issue and now the former four-star defensive back in the 2023 class is headed to the portal. Ole Miss, Texas A&M and Missouri are the three main programs to have reached out in the last few days.

After a great visit to Vanderbilt earlier this week, a trip the Virginia defensive lineman was on with Alabama transfer Keanu Koht, the Commodores are definitely in great shape to land the Cavs transfer. A big visit to Oklahoma State is coming up on Tuesday and then Diatta should make his final decision with Vanderbilt being tough to beat.

One of the fastest players in the country, Luke planned to redshirt at Arizona this season after not getting a lot of carries early in the season and now he’s hit the portal with a ton of attention already coming in. UCLA, Duke, San Diego State, UConn, Boise State and Miami (Ohio) are the programs reaching out most as the former Bellflower (Calif.) St. John Bosco standout starts looking at visits.

Murphy was not necessarily looking to leave Duke in the first place but now that he’s in the transfer portal, a visit to Auburn earlier this week definitely went well although the former four-star is considering other visits before making a decision. The word is that the Tigers are looking for a mobile quarterback and have made overtures to some but Murphy is definitely interested after his trip as well.

One of the top pass catchers in the 2024 class, Odom will be at Colorado this weekend and that’s a really important trip because his former Carrollton, Ga., teammate, five-star quarterback Julian Lewis, just signed with the Buffaloes. But Odom is also expected to visit Miami next week and then Ole Miss next weekend as others pursue as well.

After posting 48 tackles, nine pass breakups and an interception this season, Pollock entered the portal out of Mississippi State and has seen significant interest from Michigan State, Kentucky, Ole Miss, Nebraska, Colorado, Indiana, Texas Tech and Texas A&M. Visits will be important here as Pollock recently visited with the Spartans and then will see Texas Tech, Ole Miss and Kentucky so far.

The former high four-star offensive tackle played in just six games at Texas A&M this season and has been really quiet about his future plans after entering the portal but a big visit could be happening this weekend. Shanahan is headed to Tennessee for a visit and while other SEC programs have shown some interest, the Vols could be the team to watch here.

Sipp had a breakout season at Bowling Green this season with 75 tackles and six sacks and the word now is that Kansas and Houston have been the most involved. Arizona, Memphis, San Diego State and Cincinnati are others in the mix but this could be a big steal for the Jayhawks or Cougars coming out of the portal.

After two seasons at Washington, Tafai is in the portal as Minnesota and Michigan State will receive visits and look like two of the front-runners now in his recruitment. However, in recent days, USC has also offered the former Lawndale (Calif.) Leuzinger standout and with that being the hometown school, the Trojans have also emerged on the top of his list.
