Washington State cornerback Kaleb Ford-Dement is officially in the portal

After appearing in just one game this season, Washington State cornerback Kaleb Ford-Dement entered the transfer portal on Thursday as a graduate transfer.

Coming out of Kilgore (Tex.) Junior College, Ford-Dement was rated a two-star prospect in the 2019 class, signing with Old Dominion.

During the 2019 season with the Monarchs, Ford-Dement earned All-Conference USA Second Team honors, recording 26 tackles, two interceptions with 13 passes defended.

Old Dominion canceled their 2020 season due to COVID.

Ford-Dement transferred to Washington State for the 2021 season, where he tallied 10 tackles and one tackle for loss while appearing in 12 games.
